Why, because I’m the best person for the job and I’m set to prove it!
I am fortunate having grown up in Hawaii. I know island life. I grew up in Kailua, Oahu, where my family had lived since the early 50s. I went to Kainalu Elementary School from kindergarten to the seventh grade then on to Kailua Intermediate. I graduated from Kailua High School in 1967. My high school curriculum was focused on a career in advertising, which happened to be a good background education for the real estate business.
In 1967, I moved to Maui and I have been living in Makawao ever since. Living in Hawaii, and on Maui, and presents a unique lifestyle, which really needs to be experienced.
In college, I received a Associate of Arts degree in liberal arts studies, followed by a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology. When I graduated from college, I had a high enough GPA that I was offered scholarships for graduate work in my field by the United States, International University (USIU) in San Diego. I did not know which career path I would pursue while in college, but knew enough to realize that whatever I did. I would be working with people. As it turns out, real estate is really a people business.
After college I went into construction work, becoming a journeyman with the Hawaii Carpenters Union. I was a foreman with over 23 years experience in commercial and residential construction when I retired from the trade. Many of the homes and condominiums that I sell today may have been buildings I worked on during my construction career. To say I’m familiar with this inventory would be an understatement.
I have been married to my same wonderful wife since 1981. We have two full grown children. I am a dedicated full-time agent and consistent top producer, but more importantly, you will enjoy working with me.
The bottom line here is that I know & understand people and the product that might sell.
